If you’re using store-bought lemonade, make sure it’s chilled.
If you’re using homemade lemonade, simply mix fresh lemon juice with water and sugar to your taste.
2. Blend the Frosted Lemonade:
In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream and lemonade. You can also add lemon zest or a splash of fresh lemon juice for a more intense lemon flavor if desired.
If you prefer a thicker texture, you can add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
3. Blend Until Smooth:
Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, making sure there are no chunks of ice or ice cream left. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more lemonade to adjust the consistency.
4. Taste and Adjust:
Taste the frosted lemonade and adjust the sweetness or lemon flavor if necessary. Add a little more sugar if it’s not sweet enough or a bit more lemon juice if you’d like more tang.
5. Serve:
Pour the frosted lemonade into a glass and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with a lemon wedge or a maraschino cherry for a fun presentation.
