Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the sweet potatoes:
    • Place the cubed or wedged sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
    • Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Season the potatoes:
    • Add garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon (if using), salt, and pepper. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet:
    • Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Leave space between pieces to allow proper roasting.
  5. Roast the sweet potatoes:
    • Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even browning.
    • They are done when the edges are caramelized, and the centers are soft.
  6. Garnish and serve:
    • Sprinkle with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for extra flavor.
    • Serve immediately as a side dish or enjoy as a healthy snack.
