Instructions:
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the sweet potatoes:
- Place the cubed or wedged sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
- Season the potatoes:
- Add garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon (if using), salt, and pepper. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Arrange on a baking sheet:
- Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Leave space between pieces to allow proper roasting.
- Roast the sweet potatoes:
- Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even browning.
- They are done when the edges are caramelized, and the centers are soft.
- Garnish and serve:
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for extra flavor.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or enjoy as a healthy snack.
