In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s fully browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
Drain any excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning and water. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the beef is well-seasoned and the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
2. Prepare the Nacho Cheese Sauce:
If you’re using store-bought nacho cheese sauce, warm it up according to the instructions on the label. If you’re making homemade nacho cheese, you can make it by melting cheddar cheese with a little milk in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
Once heated, set aside.
3. Warm the Tortillas:
Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for 20-30 seconds on each side, or microwave them for about 20 seconds until soft and pliable.
4. Assemble the Wraps:
Lay the warm tortillas flat on a clean surface.
In the center of each tortilla, place a generous scoop of the seasoned beef mixture.
Pour a spoonful of the nacho cheese sauce over the beef.
Add any additional toppings like shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapeños, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, or diced tomatoes.
5. Wrap and Serve:
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
Slice in half diagonally, if desired, and serve with extra salsa or sour cream on the side.
