Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.

2. Prepare the Sauce:

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until smooth and combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the marinara sauce with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.

3. Layer the Casserole:

  • Spread a thin layer of the marinara sauce mixture at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Place a layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce, spreading them out evenly.
  • Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture over the ravioli and spread it out gently.
  • Repeat with another layer of marinara sauce, ravioli, and the remaining cream cheese mixture.

4. Add Cheese:

  • Top the final layer with the remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella, cheddar (if using), and Parmesan cheese on top.

5. Bake the Casserole:

  • Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until it is hot and bubbly.
  • After 25-30 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and slightly crispy on top.

6. Serve:

  • Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or basil for a burst of color and freshness.
