In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the diced onion and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until soft.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
Drain any excess fat from the beef, then stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the ketchup and mustard, mixing to combine. Remove from heat.
3. Prepare the Pie Mixture:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and Bisquick until smooth.
Stir in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
4. Assemble the Pie:
Grease a 9-inch pie dish or a similar-sized baking dish.
Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the pie dish.
Pour the Bisquick mixture over the beef, spreading it out evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
5. Bake the Pie:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Serve:
Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. You can garnish with chopped pickles, lettuce, or tomatoes if you’d like to mimic the classic cheeseburger toppings.
