Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Biscuits: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a small round shape using your fingers or a rolling pin.
  3. Add the Cheese: Place about 1-2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese (or a piece of string cheese) in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Seal the Biscuits: Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the cheese, pinching the dough together to seal it completely. Roll the biscuit into a ball shape, making sure the cheese is completely enclosed.
  5. Arrange on the Baking Sheet: Place the sealed biscuit bombs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small gap between them.
  6. Brush with Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic powder and oregano (or Italian seasoning). Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of each biscuit bomb.
  7. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuit bombs are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and gooey.
  8. Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a minute or two before serving. Optionally, sprinkle the top with grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
  9. Dip and Enjoy: Serve with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
