Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:

  • Place the chicken breasts (or thighs) in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.

2. Make the Stuffing Mixture:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and melted butter. Stir until the stuffing is evenly moistened.

3. Assemble the Dish:

  • Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid.

4. Cook:

  • Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender. You can shred the chicken with two forks for a more shredded texture or leave the breasts intact for slices.

5. Serve:

  • Once the chicken is cooked and the stuffing is golden and slightly crispy on top, garnish with fresh parsley or sage, if desired.
  • Serve the chicken and stuffing with your favorite vegetables or a side salad for a complete meal.
