Cool Whip and Pudding Frosting

Instructions:

1. Make the pudding:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and 1 cup of milk. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken, about 2 minutes. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to firm up slightly.

2. Fold in the Cool Whip:

  • Gently fold the Cool Whip into the pudding mixture. Use a spatula to mix until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.

3. Add flavor (optional):

  • If desired, you can add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the frosting.

4. Chill and frost:

  • For best results, let the frosting chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before using to allow it to firm up a bit more.
  • Once chilled, spread it onto cakes, cupcakes, or any other desserts you’d like to frost.
