Just baked a batch of delicious peanut butter cookies!

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Mix the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  • If you like extra crunch, fold in some chopped peanuts or chocolate chips at this point.

3. Shape the Cookies:

  • Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Gently flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern on top.

4. Bake:

  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. The cookies will firm up as they cool, so don’t worry if they’re a bit soft when you first take them out.

5. Cool and Serve:

  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
