Ultimate Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burger

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken Patties:

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Ranch seasoning mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix the ingredients together gently until just combined (do not overmix, as it can make the burgers tough).
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making them slightly larger than the burger buns to account for shrinkage while cooking.

2. Cook the Burgers:

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Add the patties to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are golden brown and cooked through. If you like, you can add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

3. Assemble the Burgers:

  • Toast the burger buns in the skillet or on the grill, if desired, until golden brown.
  • Spread a little ranch dressing on the bottom half of each bun (optional for extra flavor).
  • Place a cheddar ranch chicken patty on the bun, then top with fresh lettuce, tomato slices, and onion (if desired).
  • Top with the other half of the bun.

4. Serve:

  • Serve the Ultimate Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burger hot with your favorite sides, such as fries, sweet potato fries, or a side salad.
