Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
2. Prepare the Ravioli:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, and cook the ravioli according to the package instructions. Drain well and set aside.
3. Make the Cheese Mixture:
In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, sour cream, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until smooth and well combined.
4. Assemble the Casserole:
Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce at the bottom of the greased baking dish.
Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
Spread half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli layer.
Add another layer of marinara sauce over the cheese mixture, followed by the remaining ravioli.
Spread the rest of the cheese mixture on top and top with the remaining marinara sauce. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
5. Bake the Casserole:
Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
6. Serve:
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with freshly chopped basil or parsley, if desired.
Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for the ultimate comfort meal!
