Pecan Pie Balls! No Bake!

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  • Add the maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir everything together until well combined. The mixture should be sticky but firm enough to roll into balls. If the mixture feels too loose, add a little more graham cracker crumbs.

2. Form the Balls:

  • Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your hands to form a ball. Continue this process until all the mixture is used up. You should get about 12-16 balls, depending on the size.

3. Chill the Pecan Pie Balls:

  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

4. Optional Chocolate Coating:

  • If you want to coat the pecan pie balls in chocolate, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler until smooth.
  • Dip each pecan pie ball into the melted chocolate and place it back on the parchment paper to set. If you prefer, you can drizzle the chocolate over the balls instead of fully coating them.
  • Let the chocolate harden in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.

5. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Once chilled and set, your no-bake pecan pie balls are ready to enjoy! Serve them as a delightful dessert or treat, and enjoy their sweet, nutty, and rich flavor.
