If using flour tortillas or pita breads, lightly spray them with olive oil on both sides, or brush with olive oil for a crispier crust.
Place the tortillas or pita bread on a cutting board or a flat surface.
2. Add the sauce:
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce (about 1-2 tablespoons) over each tortilla or mini crust. Leave a small border around the edges for the crust.
3. Add cheese and toppings:
Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
Add your favorite pizza toppings like pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, or whatever you prefer. Don’t overload the pizza, as it may affect the crispiness.
4. Preheat the air fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes, depending on the model.
5. Air fry the mini pizzas:
Place the prepared mini pizzas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown. If you prefer a crispier crust, air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
6. Serve:
Once done, carefully remove the mini pizzas from the air fryer.
Optionally, sprinkle with dried oregano or garlic powder for extra flavor.
