RICE KRISPIE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugars:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Mix in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in Rice Krispies and Chocolate Chips:
Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal and chocolate chips, being careful not to crush the cereal too much.
  7. Scoop and Shape:
Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers look slightly soft.
  9. Cool:
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 2–3 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
