Instructions:
1. Prepare the Slaw:
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, red cabbage (if using), shredded carrots, and sliced apple.
- Add the dried cranberries and chopped green onions (if using). Toss everything together gently to mix.
2. Make the Dressing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), Dijon mustard (if using), and celery seed (if using).
- Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more honey or vinegar, depending on your preference.
3. Combine:
- Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss everything together until evenly coated.
4. Chill and Serve:
- Let the coleslaw sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Give it a final toss before serving and enjoy!
